One of the reasons I love living in Illinois. Don't get me wrong... there are reasons I hate living in Illinois, too.
And one more flood shot (that I discovered I had taken with my Nikon and promptly forgotten about...) Saturday morning.
In the foreground to the right is a small field behind a restaurant. Beyond the little strip of green poking through just beyond the field is Tonne Drive. By Sunday afternoon all of the flooding was gone in the northwest suburbs.
I would be very happy that it is smoke-free. Having smoked for 23 years, I never thought smoke would bother me, but it does!
