The Obligatory Chicago Blizzard of 2011 Post, Part 2
Le Dessert et Le Digestif
The view from my living room.
My balcony.
Nature is a mother....
As I approached my taxi, a young man approached me.
"Dig you out?" he asked. "Fifteen bucks!"
"Oh, I see what you're doing," I responded. "Let me see
what I'm up against, and I'll let you know."
When I saw the taxi I thought, "Fifteen dollars is CHEAP!"
When they finished, I paid him and his business partners $20.
Looking back at my apartment building and the joy in between.
This is a rear entrance driveway to a restaurant.
Not all was bedlam today...
This is not a snowdrift nor a snow plow pile.
And Chicago plods along....
